Healing timeline

The typical phases to expect between sessions.

  1. First 24 hours

    • White frosting settles within 30 minutes
    • Use a cool compress. Never ice directly on skin
    • Cover with a sterile, non-stick dressing
  2. Days 2–3

    • The area may feel tender, blistered or lightly scabbed
    • Keep it clean, dry and covered
    • Never pop blisters or pick scabs
  3. Week 1

    • Swelling settles and any blisters resolve
    • A light cooling gel or plain aloe can help
    • No swimming, heavy sweating or hot baths
  4. Between sessions

    • Leave at least 6 weeks after your last session
    • Apply SPF 50 every day the area sees sun
    • Take photos. Fading is often more dramatic than it feels
  5. Fully settled

    • Skin returns to its normal tone and texture
    • Ready for the next session, or a final assessment
